St. Patrick's Day!

So for St. Patrick's Day we have: green mashed potatoes, broccoli, butternut squash, and beer braised beef.  Everything was really good, and really the only new thing was the beef.

Beer-Braised Beef
I took a little Sirloin steak, that I had let sit out for like an hour to warm up, and cut off some of the fat, and then sprinkled some salt over it. Then I poured about 2 or 3 tablespoons of worcestershire sauce over it and let it sit for around 20 minutes. In a heated skillet I added about 1 tablespoon olive oil (should have used grapeseed, the olive smoked a little too much). Dropped the steak in and seared all the sides for about a minute or so each. I finished it off in an oven, pre-heated to 350 degrees, and poured about 1/2 of beer on it (Sam Adams White Ale).  I let that cook for around 8 or 9 minutes, I was heading for medium.  Once I took it out I let it sit tented in foil for about 10 minutes. I cut and served it, and it was delicious and juicy.
